Summary: Responsible for the cleaning and stocking of vehicles.  Responsible for general janitorial duties as assigned by Managers and Supervisors.  Will assist in general maintenance and upkeep of buildings.  Will function as a driver as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities –

 PURPOSE

 

To receive, stock, issue and inventory medical equipment and supplies.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

•             Inventories and restocks medical equipment and supplies in stockroom and on ambulances.

 

•             Issues required supplies and equipment to appropriate individuals and maintains inventory of items.

 

•             Maintains complete and accurate inventory and asset control.  Manage records for medical equipment and supplies including exchanged items in those locations where first responder items are pooled.

 

•             Inspects, cleans and repairs medical equipment as required.

 

•             Completes records and reports in a timely manner.

 

•             Ensures proper safeguarding of equipment and supplies.

 

•             Maintains a safe and clean work area.

 

•             Drives an ambulance, non-emergency, from time-to-time to pick-up EMS equipment left at hospitals, as well as moving ambulances on the EMSA premises.

 

 

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities-

•             Performs other duties as assigned.
